Butterfly project

This is my butterfly project and it’s based on the poem called Terezin by Hanus Hachenburg. I love doing this project because I got to use my creativity on what this poem message was. With that teaching you about the Holocaust and what people felt during the Holocaust.

Life is Beautiful Movie Review

This movie was a good movie showing what happened during the Holocaust. If I was in Guido’s or Dora’s shoes I would have done everything I can to protect my kid.  Even if that’s risking my own life. I would want my kid to survive through this terrible event and live his/her best life and be happy with a big smile on his/her face. It was crazy how the father made it seem like it was a game for the kid so then the kid won’t be scared I don’t think I would have came up with that. I did feel sad at the end because I thought that Guido killed the Nazi guy but then I realized that he didn’t make it and it hurt me even more because the mom would have to tell the kid that the father didn’t make it. It also made me realize how many people lost so many parents and siblings and at the every end they figure out that they didn’t make it. One question I would want to ask one of the Nazi’s is if they ever felt bad burning and or shooting at the people in the concentration camps?

Are you the reason why ?

“Hey. It’s Hanna. Hanna Baker.” One of the most famous quotes in the tv show "Thirteen Reasons Why." In the book "Thirteen Reasons Why" a novel by Jay Asher that is young adult fiction. Clay Jensen gets a strange package and come to find out it's tapes recorded thirteen reasons why Hanna Baker committed suicide and Clay Jensen is one of them. As Clay Jensen goes back and forth listening to the tapes hearing the terrible things that people did to Hanna knowing that he could of stop it but he did realize it. I like this book because it has a really strong meaning behind it. This book talks about what mostly teenagers go through at school. Some teenagers go through some of these stages that they say in the book and people don't even realize it. The next thing you know, there gone. Knowing that you could have done something but you didn't. As I was reading this book it made me realize about kids at my school and how everybody is going through their own situations and we as teenagers don't even know it or even one silly mistake can ruin someone's life. Have you read the book and seen the tv show ? Tell me your thoughts about it?

Slice Of Pie

8th grade is coming to an end kinda sad but happy at the same time because I can’t wait to go to high school! Since 8th grade is coming to an end we as 8th graders have to see what high school we are going to and I decided to go to Motorn. One day I got home and got a mail from Morton and it told me what my classes are and it said that I have honor math, honor biology, honor english, and core history. I felt so proud of myself because I never thought I was going to get honor classes. That made my whole day even more better and I can’t wait to meet the new people in high school!

Wishtree

Do you ever wondered if animals, trees, plants could talk? In the book called the Wishtree by Katherine Applegate, there is a tree that goes on this journey to try and make someone’s wish come true. Every year on the first of May people from all over town gets a scraps of paper, tags, fabric , snippets of yarn, etc and go up to the wish tree and makes a wish. One day a new family moved into town with a daughter named Samar. As she knew about the wish tree she went up to the wish tree and whispered, “I wish.. for a friend.” Then the wish tree named Red and her animal friends which is a bird named Bong and other animals go on the this journey to try and make Samar next door neighbor named Stephen become friends. While trying to make Samar and Stephen friends people from town want to countdown Red (wishtree). One thing I love about this book is it made me think what if trees and animals did talk? Anyway now it’s your turn to find out if they countdown Red or if they make Samar and Stephen friends. Hopefully you read this book.  if you do read this book, what were your thought and reaction to this book?

The Perfect House

If I were to have the perfect house, I would want it to be in the hill where I see the whole city. Having my family in the pool and just enjoying nature. Ughh wouldn’t that be great! Me personally I love nature, I love watching the city and hearing all the cars and noises of birds, ducks, bees, any kind of animal noises. In the backyard I would also have a section where you can have a cook out with your family and friends. I would love to have my own chef, I wish this was real! What would be your perfect house?

#ONEWORD2018

Grow that’s my one word. Now you guys may think why grow? I chose grow because grow has so many meaning to me it means I grow as a better person than I was before and not just me but other people around me. Me personally I like helping people even if it’s someone they need to talk to. From me choosing grow I can help people become a better person. For me to achieve this goal I will help people more than what I usually do by either becoming a friend to them or being there for them when they ever need it or just need someone in general just to see how they are doing. I would hold myself accountable with my word by checking up on friends maybe twice a week seeing how they doing, what they are planning over the weekend, or even just a simple “hey” and seeing what they are doing today and seeing if they want to hangout. Does my one word connect to you? What’s your one word?
